Custom Homes

In the past several years we have built 1,000 sq.ft. starter homes, we have built 10,000 sq. ft. show places, and everything in between. In all cases, a great deal of effort was put forth to make sure that our customers' hard-earned dollars were well-spent. We have always taken the approach that we are building a custom home for our customer, and not for ourselves, and thereby allow our customers to make as many decisions as they feel comfortable making. (This includes - doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, fixtures, etc.) We feel that this best fits the desires of the customer in designing the house of their dreams.

Over the past twenty-five years we have become quite skilled at managing the complexity of the 5,000 sq. ft. luxury home, and we use the same set of skills to manage the hundreds of homes that we have built in the more common 1,500 to 3,000 sq. ft. sq. ft. range.

The following guidelines are consistent from one job to the next:

We are energy efficient builders.

We are green builders.

We are wind-resistant builders.

We are seismic-resistant builders.

We do not play hopscotch with your jobs (bouncing from job to job, leaving them unfinished.)

We assign a lead carpenter that runs the job from start to finish, acting as the main customer contact.

We utilize skilled and licensed traders (roofing, electric, plumbing, etc.).

We build to exceed "Illinois Quality Assurance Program" standards

We provide a ten year structural warranty; 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
